Newsletters
We hope we’ve made the point by now that in today’s direct-to-fan music marketplace communication is king (and queen!). There is simply no better way to grow your Community, and consequently your career, than by communicating to your fans.
That being said, you need to communicate effectively and efficiently; you don’t want to email, tweet and blog just to read your own words….so to speak. Using the right tools the wrong way can do more damage than good so let us work with you to take the best advantage of all the incredible communication resources offered by the internet.
With all of today’s tweets, schmeets, bits, blogs, bleeps and widgets (whew!) we still feel that a personalized newsletter arriving in your fan’s inbox is essential. Your supporters really do want to hear from you to find out what is going on with you and your career. And, they will appreciate your taking the time to write a thoughtful and more personal letter and not always just sending the quick ‘tweet’. Quite frankly, we are great at writing these newsletters so let us help you with this important marketing tool.
Plus, this gives you the option of having us keep your database contacts updated and current unless, of course, you want to spend your time doing this….
Below are just a few examples of newsletters we’ve written for past clients. We’ve just included the wording on a few but all will be on professional and personalized templates with your picture and logo, links, music, etc., much like the Ashton example.

Newsletter Samples
(Sample #1) Hello Friends
Greetings!
I hope this finds you doing great.
Wow, where have the past two months gone???? I can't believe it is already early March. Music Fest, my favorite event of the year, will be here before we know it.
I had a great time down in Georgia recently when we had a fan club party in the Atlanta area. Many thanks again to Beth, Christy, Linda, Peg and Sharon (all pictured at right) for making it possible.
After the party, I went by Georgia Tech's Dance Marathon fundraiser for Children's Miracle Network, talked with the participants about the wonderful CMN organization, delivered the toys collected at the fan club party and sang a couple of songs. Great thing those college students were doing - giving up their weekend for a good cause.
I've been busy writing and working on new music that I hope to be able to share with you soon. I am very excited about the way it is sounding and hope you will like what you hear because I will be needing all of my Friends to help spread the word; can't do it without you!!
Well I could go on and on but will close for now. Just wanted to take a second to stop and say hello and thank you for all of your support in helping me make my dreams come true.
Stay tuned.
(Sample #2) Home on the Range
Hi Friend!!
I hope you are doing great.
Home again....I just got back from a trip home to my family's ranch and I have to tell you it was a really special trip for me.
Of course, I always love seeing my folks, but this visit was unlike any I can remember. Maybe it's just growing up and learning more about who I am, but I felt like I was seeing everything a little differently than I have before.
There's a new blog up about my trip, and I've posted pictures on all the usual sites. It was easy to get some amazing shots when everything around me looked like it belonged on a postcard! Myspace and Facebook are the best bets for staying in touch, but you can also find me on iMeem, iLike, Youtube, Digital Rodeo and of course at my site.
Below is a picture of the barn closest to my family's home; it used to be a stop on the old stage coach line between New Mexico and Texas.
Back in Nashville I am writing a lot and working on new music with some incredible songwriters. I can't wait to share the new songs with you!
Have a great and safe Labor Day weekend, my Friend.
See you 'on the road.

(Sample #4) Happy New Year!
Greetings!
Happy 2009!!!!
I still can't believe another year has come and gone but come and gone it has. I hope that your 2009 has gotten off to a great start; mine sure has - I’ve been in the studio recording some new music!
Things are happening!
We've got two very fun events coming up in January and February. The first one, on January 19th, is the one-year anniversary of the live radio show, Fun on the Farm Jamboree, in Huntingdon, TN. I did this show last year and had a blast. It is formatted much like the live radio shows of old with music, comedy, contests and lots of good clean fun.
Actress Dixie Carter is from Huntingdon and the show is broadcast from a wonderful new facility there named the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center. It starts at 2.00 and I will headline the first hour with super group Exile headlining the second. Tickets are only $12 and can be purchased at the Dixie Box Office on Huntingdon's Court Square or by calling 731-986-2100 or online at dixiePAC.net.
The other event is a fan club party being planned for the Atlanta area on Saturday, February 9 from 11.30 - 1.30 at the Newnan-Coweta County Chamber of Commerce located at 23 Bullsboro Drive which is just off exit 47 on I-85 South in Newnan. It will be very much like my Music Fest fan club party where I’ll answer questions, sing a few (new!) songs then meet and take pictures with everyone in attendance.
As many of you know, I am very involved with the Children's Miracle Network organization and we are having this party double as a toy drive for the local CMN affiliate hospital, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and as a fan club drive for me! So, for an 'admittance fee' we are asking that each person bring a friend who is not yet a fan club member so we can get them joined up (while membership is still free) and a toy that we can take to the sick little ones at the hospital. That's the only cost for admission - bring a friend(s!) and a toy(s!).
For those of you who don't live in the Atlanta area but have friends and family who do, please forward this information to them - we would love to have them join us.
Thanks so much for your continued support. I can promise you that 2009 is going to be great! So glad to have you along for the fun.
